Service Learning

Attention all juniors and seniors: If you are interested in the Honors Service Learning Course, please pick up an application in room 205 or go to the Honors Service Learning Course Link on the webpage  https://sites.google.com/a/nhcs.net/honors-service-learning-info/. 

ALL applications are due byFriday, Oct. 24 by 3:30 pm to room 205. Any students with questions may stop by room 205 on Friday, Oct. 10 from 8:30-10:00 am.

GROUNDS DAY AT NHHS 9/13

    NHHS Ground  Days
   September 13th 9am

On Saturday September 13th NHHS needs your help. We are asking for Wildcat volunteers to come out and help with some grounds beautification.

Our campus is one of the oldest high school in North Carolina  and is visited by many. The grounds are in need of some sprucing up and that’s where you come in. Please come out and help with some weeding, trimming, planting and trimming.

Please come out  on September 13th   and help us show the community, our students, parents and staff our pride we have for our school.

This is a great opportunity for Community Service  hours.

We are asking you to bring rakes, shovels, garden gloves, hedge trimmers, paint brushes,rollers,trays, hand sanders & wheel barrels.

Light refreshments will be available. Please check in at the main building.

Senior Portraits

Lifetouch sent all NHHS rising seniors information about senior portraits in the mail this summer. This has your appointment time for when you should arrive at NHHS. 

These appointments all take place August 12, August 13, and August 14. 

If you did not receive an appointment card, please call the local Lifetouch office at 910-791-0041. 

Make-up appointments for senior portraits will be on October 2 at New Hanover.
